Artist Statement

I strive to create artwork that portrays the beauty of nature and of life, with a feeling of calmness and tranquility. Oh, and sometimes I throw in something a little quirky too, just because.

 

 

Biography

I could tell you all about my family, my pets, my hobbies and my favorite books, but for now I’ll stick with sharing some of my professional highlights:

  • Self-taught artist, continually learning.
  • Bachelor of Business Administration; University of Wisconsin – Madison.
  • Graduate of Westby Area High School, Westby, WI.
  • Professional Muralist since 2012.
  • Member of International Decorative Artisans League (IDAL) since 2012.

    • PR/Marketing Coordinator at Butler County Health Care Center, David City, Nebraska.

Awards and Exhibitions 

While my main focus is painting murals, I also paint on canvas, apply for exhibits, and create digital artwork. I truly find peace and joy in being able to create, regardless of the medium.
